I recently received a request from two of my colleagues (Hi Doreena and Jeanne!) to make a review about this trendy product. Matte lipsticks are known for their long lasting effect. Of course! It's a struggle to always apply your lipstick every now and then that's why girls are now going crazy over matte lipsticks including myself.

These two colors represents the nude shade to strong and dominant shade or how our friends call it (Killer lipstick) from nice to naughty,

Pros:

• Looks good if applied properly
• Variety of color choices

Cons:

I'm not sick but it looks like I just chugged a vinegar. Yea, Dreamy is not my color

That's more like it! Rebel suits me better, don't you think? It gives the illusion that my skin is brighter

Rating:

I gave it a three out of five because for some reasons I find it really uncomfortable on the lips and I'm a fan of matte lipsticks that doesn't feel like a paint on my lips (if you get what I mean) Plus it's really hard to remove without a make-up remover. Would I buy it? Maybe, why not? But I would really like to try other brands. Just find the right shade for your skin tone so that you won't regret buying it.
Tip: If you'll buy a nude shade, be sure that it's not as close as your skin tone because see how I look like on the first photo? Yea, you don't wanna look like that right? hehe. If you have morena skin go for a darker nude shade. Got it? 
Also, If you bought this one be sure you know how to apply it properly because it's kind of hard to apply with the right shape and since it's dries out fast it will be very hard to remove the excess parts.

Sometimes we never realize the smallest things are the most important. You might think skin care is really expensive and take up too much of your time but let me tell you a secret, you can take care of your skin properly by following the few steps listed below.

1. Avoid touching your face often

2. Always wash your face before going to sleep

3. Avoid being stressed

4. Sleep early

We know it's a struggle to find what best make-up product to buy. We have several types of make-up and it's a real struggle to decide which product to use. It's good to know what are the use of every make-up so that we'll be aware of we are putting on our faces.

1. Foundation

Definition: 

Is a skin colored make up applied to the face to create an even, uniform color to the complexion, to cover flaws and, sometimes, to change the natural skin tone. Foundation is simply a make-up base. We use this to cover the blemishes and imperfection of the skin, and helps us enhance our skin tone.

Now girls, remember the most important part of your make up are your eyebrows. It doesn't matter if we do it in 5, 10 or 15 minutes as long as it's on fleek! Believe me, I never learned how to draw my brows properly till after a year. Yea, it took me long enough but it's worth it.

So here are the 5 easy steps in achieving your #kilaygoals

Step 1: Choose the rightful tool

Choose a product that you think is the easiest tool to use to draw your brow. For instance, I use Face Shop's lovely.me design my brows. It is so convenient because you don't have to sharpen it, plus it comes with an eyebrow brush on the tip.

Step 2: Find the right colour

Always remember that it should match your hair, or your skin complexion. Don't make it literally a drawing. Brown would be suitable or dark brown, just use the color that compliments you well.

Step 3: Draw it like a pro

Draw a line on the top and below your eyebrows, place your pen to the tip of your eyes in a diagonal form for you to measure how would you extend your eyebrows. Don't be afraid to make mistakes at first, after some time, you'll be drawing your brows like a pro. It takes a lot of practice.

Step 4: Fill in the empty spaces

Brush the hair of your brows to spread the color and just do a retouching by filling in the empty parts o your brows (Tip: Your eyebrows should not be too thick or too thin, just the right amount and girls don't be mad on your brows, don't let it look like a tape attached to your face)

Step 5: Finishing Touches

Finish it by applying a foundation/concealer on the tip of your brows to enhance it to have a clean finish.

A concealer or foundation would do, just apply it through the edges and dab it with your finger or with a brush

Additional Advice:

So that's it, don't worry you'll get it right, it took me long enough to draw my brows properly. Never stop practicing, you'll know what's the right pattern for your brows. Never make super duper thick and it must always be extended. Just use the right tools, know your face and you'll be drawing your eyebrows like a pro and achieve your ultimate #kilaygoals

A lot of my friends are asking me what products I use to avoid pimples and acne. Back in highschool, I was the queen of pimples but during that time I wasn't taking care of my skin the way I should be. I have tried so many products until finally, I found this one.

Nature Republic Snail Solution Foam Cleanser
The packaging as you can see is very simple (I'm sorry for not posting the actual packaging or the box my mom threw it away accidentally)

The snail solution foam cleanser consists of mucus remains from snails that lived through a cleanand pure environment and the Rose of Jericho which is only grown in Madagascar and is known for its long lifespan. The natural healing therapy was found in snail mucin which heals damaged skin of the snail itself. (found that one on the nature republic page)

Instructions:

For application, after washing your face with water, squeeze a small amount of the foam, and apply it to your face, wash your face with a circular motion, remember to rub it gently on your face, not too rough, then wipe your face with a clean towel. If you're wearing a make-up, it's much better if you use a make-up remover or a cleansing oil/cream first for better cleansing.

I would recommend this to my friends since I've been using it for a couple of months now and I've noticed the changes in my skin, making it softer and pimple free. It's also convenient since it will last for up to 4-6 months depending on your usage because a small amount is very bubbly.

Tip: It's good to invest with these kinds of products because organic/authentic cosmetics are usually the best since there are no chemicals so you know you're not damaging your skin even more. Also, avoid touching your face too often, you know, your hands are dirty too.

So if you are still struggling to find the right product that fits well with your face, no worries, never stop trying the products that are available to you and you'll surely get the right one. Well, I would still try other products from this.

This product will give you a Dewy finish, best for those who have dry skin since it moisturizes your face. Good for achieving that "no make-up look" since it's thin and will give you a glowing effect.

I won't recommend this product to those who have oily skin since the glowing effect plus the moisture will make your face look even more oily.

It also covers all your wrinkles and dead skin making your face looks naturally healthy.

I love this product but of course, I would still like to try other products as well

Perks: Once you have this one, you no longer have to buy the compact again, you can just replace the empty cushion with a less expensive price.

I will give this product a 4.5 since it suites my face really well and it helps me achieve my no make-up look. So there you go, if you want to buy this product I will definitely recommend it, it's a good investment for your face since it can last up to 3-4 months plus it's not only a make-up it also gives the proper treatment and nourishment for your face.
