Disclaimer: Before narrowing down the tips I have for you, please note that I am not a veterinarian or an expert, these tips are purely based on my personal experiences as a first-time furmom.

Hi, everyone! For today's topic, I'm going to talk about something different than my usual posts.

I recently got my first puppy for almost two months now. Her name is Sunny, she's 75% Shih Tzu and 25% dachshund. I was hesitant at first but I fell in love with her the moment I put her in my arms when she was just a teeny-tiny pup.

I had to wait for almost two months before taking her home, but I couldn't wait until I take her home so I always ask my boyfriend to take me to our friend's house just to see her.

Who wouldn't fall in love with her? She is so adorable and she looks like a teddy bear and a bunny in one. LOL.

When time has come to take Sunny home, her first night with us, got me shookt! She didn't let me sleep. She was always crying, asking to be out of her box. I was very stressed and I didn't know what to do. At that point, I was already giving up and I was thinking that I may not be able to take care of this puppy on my own. I was ready to give her back to her original owner which is a very irresponsible move.

As I didn't know what to do, I took her to my boyfriend's house and she stayed there for a week. He taught me how to properly take care of her. I came by at their house almost every day to check up on her. Even though I was stressed on the first night, I missed her and I knew that I had to take responsibility for her because she needs me.

So I decided to take her back to our home and I kept up with the phase because of how my boyfriend showed me how to be patient, and responsible.

The first week Sunny is in our home, she was always crying and knocking on our room because she doesn't want to be left out so I customized a baby diaper for her so she can stay and sleep in our room. But she was also potty trained so she knows where to poop.

With that being said, here are a few tips or the things that you should expect when you want to adopt a pet.

1. They are like babies too

When you adopt a pet, it's like adopting a baby too. They need special attention and you need to potty train them which takes a lot of time and stress but once they learn, it's definitely worth it. We should take care of them as our own because if we showed them how we truly love and care for them, they will surely bring back the love they received from you.

2. You need extreme patience 

Puppies like to play a lot and eat anything they could reach. It's hard to keep an eye on them every second so, at some point, they may do something we're not going to be happy about. Whenever I scold Sunny, I noticed that she understands, she looks at me with her puppy eyes and would kiss me after realizing what she's done. Just be patient with your puppy.

3. It will cost you a lot

For someone like me who always wants Sunny to be healthy and well taken care of, going to the vet, having her vaccine shots, checkups and all, it definitely cost me and my boyfriend a lot. I also had to buy her food, vitamins, and toys. So you see, I really treated her as my baby.

4. Your daily life will be much better

Hi there! This blog is dedicated for you. Yes you, you opened this blog for a reason and I know it for sure, you are struggling right now. You wouldn't have opened this if you weren't.

May it be your career, relationships, family or yourself, struggles always come and go.

I don't take struggles very easily, I let it defeat me for most times. I let it devour me, I let it in my system for so long and I take a lot of time before I snap out of it.

I am writing this because I felt the need to. I've been struggling for so long that I compromised my career, the things that I love doing especially blogging so I thought that this might be a good opportunity for a comeback.

I keep letting that struggle be my identity, but you know what? I forgot what my real identity is, is that I am a daughter of God. I am His princess, I am His. 

I haven't been expressing my faith in Him for so long that I almost forgot how it felt to feel His love like I'm flying through the clouds.

Until someone very unexpected reminded me of that. My partner and I have been very idle on our faith so I thought he didn't care about church anymore, he didn't care about anything related to that. Until I asked him a question, "do you think God is unfair?" short fact about him, he has faced tons of struggles in life, I mean tons but you know what he said to me?

"I don't think He is unfair at all. Yes I may have faced a lot of struggles in life but I needed that to become who I am today. You don't have to think or question the things you don't have, you just have to be thankful for what you have"

That's very basic but it's too hard to apply in our lives. He said that he was thankful that he is living and well, he has food to eat everyday, he has shelter to live in and so on. Throughout our conversation, he just stated every little thing that he appreciates. We rarely talk about serious stuff like these but when we do, it is more than meaningful.

He helped me get back up and to deny the identity that I was becoming.

Setting the story aside, what I'm trying to say is, talk to someone who you trust and who you think can help you with your struggles.

I don't have the advice or the answers to your struggles because only you know the answers. You know how to end this but you keep on holding on to your defeat which I understand. Get back up, pull yourself together.

I'm having so many feelings lately so I thought this could be a good way to share it and I know some of you guys may have been wondering why am I so down lately, why am I so emo, why am I like this and like that. I couldn't really talk about it here because it's a very personal matter but here's something that I could share.

So I'm losing my hope in love, I don't think it really exists or I know that love exists, it does but I don't think it really lasts. There are a lot of things going on in my mind that's keeping me from believing and holding on to love. This sounds so cringey and so emotional I think I'm gonna puke. So yeah, you get the idea of what I'm saying.

But of all the things that are keeping me from believing in love, love still picks me up.

I'm the kind of girl who's very weak with emotions, I've been cheated on maanyyyy times but I still believed in relationships that's just how I am. I never believed that all guys are the same and I truly believed I am gonna find someone who's gonna take care of me and hold me like I'm the most important person in the world.

I think I did, I know I did. That's why this blogpost is purely dedicated to my partner, who's keeping me from going insane these past few weeks or months.

I know you also have a lot on your plate but up to this date, you always made sure I'm okay.

But don't get me wrong. He's not perfect and so am I, we had bumps along the way, lots and lots of bumps and it was messy, it was emotional, it was making me crazy. But when something is hurting me, he made sure that I was really taken care of. Our relationship not perfect but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

My weekends were always genuinely happy because of him, even though he's tired from work, he would go straight to me just to make sure I'm okay. He would sacrifice his rest days just to be with me and let me know that he's there for me. And I am the kind of person who appreciates the littlest things more than huge gestures.

So I wouldn't keep this long because you won't read this anyway. LOL. I know we have a long way to go. Our circumstances may lead us to not believe that love lasts because our life right now is a total mess and it's an emotional torture. My mind is telling me that we're gonna be just like every other couple in the world but a part of me wants to hold on to that last hope, if this doesn't work, I don't think I'll ever believe in love.

Thank you for keeping up with me through all these years, I'm always thankful that God has blessed our broken roads and it led me straight to you. When I'm losing my hope in love, you always remind me of how He loves me and what I deserve. You always remind me that I should be holding on to love.

People used to say that love is not based on your feelings or emotions, but it's based on our decisions, I didn't fully understand that until now so thank you for making me realize that.

That's why I'm hoping and praying that God will continuously bless our relationship and I also know that His grace is enough to sustain us both. It's been working for two years and I do think that He's the reason why we're still together up to this date.

I'm not sure where the future takes us but I'm sure I want you to be my future. So please don't break us, please don't break my trust because I'm 100% sure of myself that I won't break yours. The world neglected us love but I hope we'll find it in each other.

Hi everyone! It's the weekend again and I was just having some thoughts about my work because whenever people ask me about my job, how does it work, how do I get paid and everything. In this blog, I'm gonna talk about my job, and our company.

The first company that I joined was Dnata, it was one of the huge travel companies in the world being the sister company of Emirates. I worked as a customer service agent there for almost 8 months, I felt the desire to leave the company because I felt like I wasn't getting the right training for my career path, I was also depressed by how sh*tty the customers treat us everyday, like everyday I would come to work and me and my colleagues would just talk about how sh*tty the day was, these friends helped me get by and so I decided to apply to Ebookingservices.

Now I know a looot of you would disagree about my decision and would simply say, hey, every workplace is stressful, why do you have to be such a cry baby, just get on with it. For me, if it's not helping with my growth as a professional or as an individual, I'll leave. I agree that every workplace is stressful, but at least you gotta choose a workplace that is not toxic because to me, that's what is poisoning you and slowly crashing your soul.

From there, I started working as a content editor, was moved to customer service (again) then now, I am working as an acquisition specialist for bookallsafaris.com. I'm really enjoying what I do everyday, I get to be in contact with different people. The team is the bonus, even though we can't see each other physically, we've been sharing our daily stress and achievements, I could definitely say that we are now working as a family.

"What are the benefits or working at home?"

1. First of all, commuting is no longer required. Yehey for me because I'm not a morning person, I take long hours getting ready, which means I could save more because I won't have to set aside money just for transportation.

2. You can still work when you're not feeling better but not too sick. Working remotely, I get to adjust my schedule but not often of course, because for me I wouldn't want my tasks to be bombarded so when I don't feel better, I would just adjust my schedule to still finish everything that I'm doing.

3. I can de-stress any time. I remember working at an office, I could just release my stress through scheduled breaks but working remotely, whenever I feel so stuffy at work, I could pause for a few hours, eat whatever I want and then go back to work.

4. Flexible schedule. What I love about Tripaneer is that they allow us to choose a preferred schedule that we should stick to. I remember working based on the schedule given to me. With the freedom that I have, I get to choose my days off and my working hours which is a very great perk that all of us want.

5. You get to know different people from different countries and nationalities. Tripaneer is a global website so the employees are also picked globally. This is so exciting because you get to meet a lot of people so despite the long distance I was able to make awesome friends and people that helps me with not only work but sometimes even personal.

Aside from the benefits, there are also some challenges to working at home

But apart from that, I think that's it. I really enjoy what I'm doing so to those who are asking if I would still pursue my dreams of becoming a flight attendant, I would confidently say no, because as I grow and learn everyday, I also realized that it is no longer my dream but I would definitely pursue traveling someday.

To those who are asking if I have plans on getting a "real" job, this is a real job, it's a fast paced environment and very challenging. It shaped my personality a lot because I have to deliver with less supervision and everything is self taught.

My interests were shifted to blogging/vlogging, and makeup. With my job as an acquisition specialist for Tripaneer, I have a work-life balance which means I could also pursue other careers that I want to try. I started my very first makeup tutorial so you'll be seeing more from me.

Hi everyone! It's been a while, I've been very busy with work so it took me a while to post a new blog but thankfully, I got invited to an event! Thank you very much to Mr. KG and The Skin Bureau team for inviting me to the presscon and official launch.

I'm so excited to share my experience with you guys since this is the very first event that I went to. I've been invited to some events but because of the conflict with my schedule and most of the events are in Manila, so it's really hard for me to attend these events. Anyway, let's begin!


We got to the venue at 10:00 AM and I got to be in the same elevator with Ms. Anna Cay, one of the famous youtubers in the country. Shame on me that I didn't even recognize her so I wasn't able to take a picture with her.



While the crew were setting up and waiting for the endorsers to finish their makeup and shoots, bloggers had the chance to take a picture of the venue, with the products and all and by 12:00 NN we had lunch, so the official program or presscon started at 01:00 PM.

The beautiful endorsers are Ms. Arjane Amante, Ms. Ashley Singh, Ms. Sachzna Laparan, Ms. Anna Cay and The Mocha Girls' Seika Samonte Hashizume and Georgina Knight.




Mr. Jefferey Geronimo, the founder of The Skin Bureau was asked by several media partners and bloggers and I would like to commend him for graciously asking every question. Here are some of the memorable question and answer portion that I kept in mind for they are very very helpful.

1. Why did he choose these ladies as the brand ambassadors of The Skin Bureau?

-Simply because these ladies are the representatives of the millennials (which is his target market) who is at the peek of their careers, even though they are busy with their schedule and all, The Skin Bureau products will help them achieve a good skin without doing too much.

2. How safe are the ingredients used on the products?

-The Skin Bureau has organic products which are very helpful for the skin, it includes a witch hazel ingredient (which is also very popular for Korean skin care I might add, and I was impressed) It also has papaya extracts and ingredients that are can't be found here in the Philippines and are exported from the US. Mr. Jeff also mentioned that they have expert chemists, and doctors that reviewed and helped them make the products safe. (No animal testing was made during the whole process)

3. At what age should a person start their skin care routine?

-At the start of puberty, a person may start their skincare routine as early as 13 years old.

4. Mr. Jeff mentioned that the target market are the millennials, but can it be used by other group of people like teens, older age and even boys?

-The product can be used by everybody, guys included as long as you want to take care of your skin.

5. And of course, I asked Ms. Anna to give a message or an advice to us aspiring bloggers who also strive hard in other aspects of our careers while making sure our skin is being taken care of.

I dedicate this blog post to my grandfather who passed away last week due to a car accident. I can still remember the scene when my father called me with the news saying that my grandfather is gone. I just went, huh? In my mind, I felt like he was just in the hospital trying to get better or something, that someone just exaggerated the news that he was gone. My heart and mind never accepted it.

What went through my mind when I heard the news? Regrets. So many regrets. My grandfather was a tough old dude. He was always the angry one. What he wants is what he gets. But other than that, he was generous and kind. When it comes to his grandchildren, despite everything, he will be there, he used to give me money even when he had nothing left for himself.



I felt like I haven't been a good granddaughter to him. These are my regrets, I haven't even told him that I love him, that despite everything, he was still my idol. That I love how he loves my grandmother deeply. I never got to hug him one last time. The last time he went here, I haven't even spoken to him long enough. I haven't asked him how was his trip, was he tired? Did he want to eat? I can't even remember having a short conversation with him. I did not even greet him on his birthday. I was not able to treat him when I got my first payslip.



I haven't told him how I thankful I am for giving me the greatest dad in the world. During the funeral, those were the thoughts that haunted my mind. While I was sitting there, looking at his coffin, I can still feel that he was there, like at some point he would come through the door, nagging at how I sit like a boy. He would ask if I had eaten, and he would scold me for not finishing my meal. His death was not sinking in, or I just wouldn't accept it.

I haven't got the chance to spend time with him for a long time because of the distance.

His death was a shocker, an eye opener. These words, these tears, no matter how meaningful they are, it still means nothing because he wouldn't hear them. I think I can move on from this, but I will never move on from the fact that I did nothing. I was writing this with rivers of tears, It was sad, painful, but hopefully it will get better.



To my family, the ones that are left, let us not forget the meaningful life that tatay left. Let us not live in pain, but with lessons learned. Let us always recall the memories left from him and nanay. Let us promise to be complete without saying goodbye to another loved one. We may always be together in a tragic way, but at least we were together for a while. In the end, we always regret the chances we didn't take.








For now, we say goodbye to you tay, we will always remember you. Forever. I love you and I'm sorry.

Well, who cares about that, and why am I telling you this? So here's the thing, I'm not an expert or pro with make-up, I started my blog just to help people, especially those who are just starting to appreciate it,  decide which are the best products to use and providing simple easy steps to begin make-up. I always wanted to be a part of people's lives. I just started my blog and I'm really hoping that I could reach out to a lot of people. 

I used to read other blogs talking about the basics, how to get more followers and such, how to write a good content etc. It really helped, a lot. 

So to my fellow new bloggers, these are my confessions, learned lessons and realizations upon blogging. Take it as an advice as well if you like. 

It is really important to show people who you really are in a blog. Be private but show yourself. Show what you are capable of and what are your purpose. Pictures, content, show the whole world who you are and what you can bring on the table.

Read other blogs too. It really helps especially those who are blogging since forever! They know pretty much everything! So get some tips from them but don't steal their work. I specifically struggle on the photos, I'm really not a expert when it comes to those but reading blogs help me get ideas but not steal about the photos. The lighting, the right angle, and etc.

Never blog because of the money and the perks. It will take the fun out of it. I must admit, at first I was blinded about getting sponsors, earning so much money from ads and etc. It seriously took out the fun out of it because I was worried that my blog wouldn't sell where in fact I published this in the first place to reach out to people by sharing our passions. So I got lost there, I still dream about getting sponsors but it will take time and if you do what you love, those are just bonus. :)

Don't be afraid of other's judgment. I must admit, I really got conscious about what others might think about my blog, what if people won't like it, I let the pressure get to me, but turns out most of my friends are liking it and find it very helpful which is good for me. I may not please everybody, but atleast I'm happy that somehow, it's being noticed and it helps people not just on making decisions for their make-up thingy but also encourages other people because most of my content are about empowerment and encouragement. Don't be discouraged but also accept the expert's advice and opinions. :)

I know we don't literally hear each other's voices on blogs (kidding) but your voice can be heard through your contents. Allow readers to feel you and believe in your blog just like how you believe in yourself. Be a part of something great because of it. Blogging may not be for everybody, but blogging is definitely for anybody who wants to gain something in their lives, either recognition, source of living, source of your happiness, or whatever your purpose is, your blog has a voice and let it be heard.

So again I'm not an expert, these are just my thoughts and you are very much welcome to give me advice as well.
